Established in 1728 as a tannery itself, Hüni leveraged its extensive knowledge to innovate the wet-end process with its components and evolved into a leading supplier of the industry. After automating over 3000 drums in different tanneries, Hüni began producing wooden drums in 1988 and introduced the production of polypropylene drums as a logical step in 2003. Hüni has further advanced the internal configuration of its drums, leading to the patented “Jumbo” technology, offering unique benefits.
