DATATAN 4.0 – HÜNI ERP

At Hüni, we are developing tools that enhance existing automation products in order to turn tanneries into digitalized Smart Factories. Since the late 1960’s Hüni is been working on process control and information technology in the tanning industry to present a fully operational package to tanneries Essential for the Smart Factory is the availability and use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Hüni included in its portfolio a new ERP software for tanneries, named DataTAN 4.0, that fully integrates with existing automation solutions and process execution. Datatan 4.0, Hüni’s ERP encompasses real-time data for the purchase of raw materials, chemical, production planning, controlling and execution as well as sales assistance with total traceability at all levels throughout the system of consumption, inventory, timing and execution. The system is cloud-based hence available anytime and anywhere. The complexity of the mentioned tools, combining business, production and technology, will lead to the Hüni Industry 4.0 Smart Tannery.
